CERN auditorium ready to host more brilliant minds in Skeie seating

Skeie auditorium seating

CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is one of the world’s largest and most respected centres for scientific research. It’s business is fundamental physics, finding out what the world is made of and how it works.

Skeie was tasked with designing a customized solution for seating and a table set-up where all the electronics could be incorporated. CERN quickly decided on the Skeie | Wave model, and for the tables Skeie designed a brand new solution where the front panels were removable so that the electricians could easily get to the electronics.

The CERN auditorium was overdue for a refurbishment, and with Skeie auditorium seating and wooden artwork from Ilona Rista the design was complete.

“We received a lot of compliments for the job done, and as you can see on the pictures, it looks fantastic. You say that you enjoyed the job and you are proud of the outcome. I feel the same. It was a great collaboration and it was a great pleasure to work with you and Sigrun and all your team.” Myriam Veyrat, Project Manager, CERN.
